One cannot encounter God through the Word and remain unchanged. One will either believe/follow or deny/spurn.

Repentance: 2 Kings 22:11-13
Reform/Revival: 2 Kings 23:1-3
He followed through with the covenant by:
2 Kings 23:4-6 Removing idols from the house of the Lord.
2 Kings 23:7-14 Tearing down and defiling "high places' throughout the city
2 Kings 23:15-20 going out to tear down the tradition of idolatry throughout the countryside
2 Kings 23:21-23 reinstitution the Passover
2 Kings 23:24-25 establish the words of the law
