Do You Trust God?
Isaiah 40

Is God trustworthy?
Power: I trust God because He is powerful enough to keep His promises.
Power in creation. 40:12-14, 25, 26
Power in civilization. 40:21-24
Power in communication. 40:6-8
Goodness: I trust God because He is good. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.
God is good - His glory. 40:-5
God is good - His character. 40:9-11
God cares for me: I trust God because He cares for me.
God saves me by grace. 40:1-2
God sustains me by grace. 40:29-31

Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
